@ivanagreslikova – BURUL, Naryn, Kyrgyzstan „How did you two meet?“
I asked Burul who was hosting me for a couple of days. „On the phone.“
„Did you see him before?“
„No. Our parents knew each other and they suggested we would start chatting… He called me twice. It was nice. Then his aunt invited me for tea. So I went. But when I arrived, he asked me to go for a shashlyk bbq. Without any suspect, I agreed. But it was a set up. We got married that day,“ laughed Burul.
„He stole you!“, joked our common friend Syrgak who shared a late lunch with us.
„I didn’t steal anyone!!!,“ opposed Talant, Burul’s husband. „When you steal a woman here, she doesn’t even know you. But we knew each other!“, he justified.
„Did you know you were going to get married instead of going for a bbq?“, I asked.
„I didn’t,“ said Talant while Burul was gigling, sitting next to him.
„I’d never thought of it, but now, I can’t imagine my life without children,“ she said with a sweet tone while hugging her little one.
